I can’t believe how much time has passed since I last updated the website. Since my last post, Jack has transferred from his local school to St Elizabeth’s – a centre of excellence for people with epilepsy to live, work and study. After a two year battle for funding, Jack finally took up his place in June 2019. He has thrived over the last year – until Coronavirus came along ..
After shielding with us at home for 13 weeks, he has now returned, only to have to leave this week and move on to the next stage of his life.
We are so very proud of everything he has achieved at St Elizabeth’s – both the staff and carers understood him so well! He will be sad to leave but there is no funding available for him to stay.
